Very Good Series...

As far as I'm concerned this Series is a great addition to C.E.M.'s Resume'. It's molded in a similar fashion of the other "detective/adventure" shows that were aired at the time: In-and-out-in-thirty-minutes. Using existing characters from "I Love A Mystery", the audience already had a basis for listening, and I think they were ready for a "shorter-non-serialized" format. I used the "Kwan Moon Dagger" in my syndicated Morning Feature "The Breakfast Serial", and it proved to be one of the most popular shows of the Series. AND, it still holds up today, as I fashioned the Series to be generic, i.e., the shows I produced in 1973-1981 sound just as "timely" as the day they were produced. Thanks so much for having this Series availble for all to hear ! Jonnie King

Good but not the thrills of other Morse adventures

Some Carleton Morse offerings have been over long and could have used some script tighening up. Dialogue busy. I'm referring to the I Love a Mystery, and Adventures by Morse. Still great! On the other hand, the I Love Adventure series tends to be too short for the material. An hour would have been perfect for a full story presentation. Having said that I give them four stars because they are still good listening.
