The Mabinogion

Leído por Jim Locke
The Mabinogion gathers medieval Welsh tales of kings, heroes, enchantment, and the otherworld. This volume presents the stories as translated from Welsh manuscripts, carrying listeners into a world shaped by ancient custom and supernatural forces.
Its Arthurian material sits alongside older Welsh traditions, where quests and courtly encounters meet magic and myth. The result is not a single continuous adventure, but a collection of narratives that offers a window onto the varied roots of Welsh legend.
For listeners interested in mythology and early Arthurian storytelling, this volume provides a chance to hear these tales in their literary and cultural setting.

The narration is just awful. He cannot pronounce Welsh names making the reading distractingly unintelligible.
reader unfamiliar with Welsh

kudos to Jim Locke for taking the time to record himself reading the Mabinogion, however he has poor recording equipment, a flat cadence, and needs practice at Welsh.
