Tales and Stories
por Mary Shelley
Leído por LibriVox Volunteers
Best known for Frankenstein, Mary Shelley also wrote stories that range from Gothic mystery to the supernatural and early science fiction. This collection brings together shorter works that reveal the breadth of her imagination beyond her famous novel.
Many of the tales draw on Gothic conventions: old castles, unsettling discoveries, and secrets bound up with family history. Others turn toward supernatural events or speculative ideas, offering a different kind of unease from the shadowed settings.
The collection is a chance to hear Shelley working across forms and moods, with each story offering a self-contained encounter with the strange, the mysterious, or the possible.
